The archive of the first edition

The first edition took place in L'Aquila from 17th to 20th September 2026. The profile pages retain the synopses, authors and credits of the works in the catalogue. The catalogue does not coincide with the screening selection.

The documentaries in the 2026 archive

The published archive currently includes 21 documentaries from the first edition of the CIAQ Film Festival. The works meet people, places, and communities, observing the present through different experiences and perspectives. The catalog entries collect synopses, authors, and credits, allowing the audience to get to know the subjects and people involved in the creation of each work.

The current number takes into account the withdrawals and updates made to the archive. The original documentary submissions received through FilmFreeway were 23. The total number of submissions and the number of works currently published do not coincide, as they describe two different moments: the initial reception of the works and the updated configuration of the catalog.

What indicates the presence in the catalog

The inclusion of a documentary in the archive does not mean its presence in the selection of screenings. The published catalog collects the works and related informational materials, but does not coincide with the program presented in the theater. This distinction allows for proper consultation of the profiles without assigning them a selection status not indicated on the page.

The first edition took place in L’Aquila from September 17 to 20, 2026. The archive retains the information dedicated to the documentaries and allows you to explore the works through the individual tabs. From the catalog, you can also access the other sections of the festival, dedicated to feature films and short films.
